Callosa d'en Sarrià is where Dragon Reforms has its office, so a site visit here is a short drive. We know the village streets, the older houses and the fincas on the hillsides, and we build showers to suit them.
This inland town sits in the valley below the Guadalest mountains, known for its medlars and terraced farmland. Homes are village houses, older stone and rendered buildings, and fincas on the hillsides, and many are lived in all year by local families.
Because our office is here, we do not need to travel far to see the room. That makes it easy to call in, measure, and come back to talk through changes. It also means we are close if you need us after the shower is finished.
Our work stretches across the whole north Costa Blanca, and we have been at it since 1999. Callosa gets the same crew as everywhere else, with plumbing, tiling and building under one manager, and both English and Spanish spoken in the office.
Close at hand
Being based in the town means a survey can often be arranged quickly, and we can return for a second look if a decision needs more thought. Owners do not have to commit on the spot, and we are happy to revisit with a sample or a drawing.
It also helps during the job. If a question arises on site, such as a floor that is lower than expected or a pipe in an unexpected place, we can attend promptly and explain options. Problems are easier to handle when you can see them together.
After handover, the same applies. If a seal needs a look or a fitting needs adjusting, we are not far away. We stand behind the work, with the scope of our guarantee written into the quotation.
Village houses
Homes in the village are often older, with thick walls, mixed floors and bathrooms added or moved over time. Our survey looks at the floor material, how the waste pipe runs and whether the walls are dry enough to take a new shower.
A walk-in shower often suits these houses well, replacing a bath that takes up much of the room. A fixed glass panel keeps the space open, and a niche in a thick wall holds bottles without clutter.
Where stairs and doors are narrow, we plan deliveries carefully. Large glass and panels can be ordered in manageable sizes, and we describe the route in the quotation so there is no surprise on the day.
Hillside fincas
Fincas on the hillsides have a character of their own. Water and drainage may differ from a village street, and bathrooms may have been added to buildings with a very different original use. We trace both before drawing a shower.
Space is often generous, which suits wet rooms and large walk-in showers. A long drain, a bench and a wide screen can all fit, so long as the floor structure allows the falls we need. We check it before we promise a design.
The farm-style setting also means mud and dust come in on boots. A shower near a rear door, with a tough, non-slip floor and a drain that is easy to clear, makes practical sense for people working the land.
How it works
We fix a time to see your house, measure the bathroom, trace the waste and examine the floor. After hearing your wishes, we send a quotation without charge, with each stage, finish and fitting spelled out.
The job begins with strip-out, then plumbing, the base, sealing, tiling and the screen. Pictures mark each phase, and because the office is nearby you can reach us easily while work is going on. Handover includes a full inspection together.
