Callosa d'en Sarrià is where Dragon Reforms has its office, so a wardrobe job here comes with short journeys, quick site visits and a team that knows the town's houses from the inside.
The town lies inland in the valley beneath the Guadalest mountains, among terraces of medlar trees. Its houses are different from the resorts on the coast: village homes in stone or render, family houses with several generations of alterations and fincas on the hillsides where lots of space has been added over time.
Because the office is here, we can visit at short notice, return to re-measure if needed and drop by during the work. That matters for carpentry, where an extra check of a measurement can save a wasted board. It also means we are easy to find if you want something adjusted afterwards.
Our work in this part of Alicante has been renovation since 1999, and our own office sits in the town. Our carpenters survey, build and fit every unit themselves, and the free quotation explains how the completed work is guaranteed. We speak English and Spanish.
Village homes
Many houses in the town have been altered by successive generations, with a bedroom added here and a wall moved there. The result is rooms of odd shapes and a mix of old and newer construction. A wardrobe must be made to fit the room as it is, not as a plan suggests.
Older homes were often built with fewer cupboards than we expect now, so built-in storage can transform them. Linen, winter coats and household items that now live in boxes can have proper places, and the bedrooms feel calmer as a result.
Walls vary between thick stone and lighter rendered block. We check which we are dealing with, as it affects fixings and the possibility of damp. We use the right plugs and frames for each wall, and we say if a wall needs attention first.
Fincas
Fincas on the hillsides above the town often combine old farm buildings with later extensions. Bedrooms can be reached by outside steps or by corridors with changes of level. We walk through the whole house to understand how rooms connect and where storage is needed.
Rural houses often need more utility storage than town ones do: places for boots, tools, preserves and cleaning equipment. We build cupboards and shelving in utility rooms and corridors, in a durable finish that tolerates dust and the occasional spill of muddy boots.
Seasonal living matters. If a finca is occupied in spring and summer and quiet in winter, we plan storage that keeps clothes fresh while the house is empty, with airflow and doors that close firmly against dust and insects, which are a fact of life in the valley.
Local service
For many jobs, the main cost of delay is travel. When the office and workshop are close, we can come back to check a detail, adjust a door or bring a missing piece without it becoming a big event. It keeps small problems from growing.
Local knowledge also helps with suppliers and with the town itself. We know which approach suits the typical house types here, and how those houses behave through the seasons, which is useful when choosing materials and fixings for each room.

How it works
Because we are close, a first visit can usually be arranged promptly and without a call-out fuss. We measure the walls, look at the room's condition and talk through what you want to store, with a rough layout sketched on the spot.
The free written quotation follows. When you approve it, the units are built in our workshop and put in on a date agreed with you, and we check back afterwards to be sure the doors and interior work as you hoped.
Questions
Yes, our office is in the town. That lets us arrange survey visits quickly and return to check details during the job. We also work across the wider north Costa Blanca, on the coast and inland.
Yes. We check the type of wall, its dryness and the floor level, then choose suitable fixings and scribe the unit to the surface. If damp is present, we advise treating it before anything is built.
Yes. Shelving and cupboards for boots, tools, preserves and household goods can be built in a durable finish. We can match them to the bedroom wardrobes or keep them simple and practical, as you prefer.
