In a Benidorm flat every square metre counts. Made-to-measure wardrobes turn awkward bedroom corners into proper storage, with doors that never swing into the bed and finishes that stand up to a busy rental calendar.
A skyline of apartment towers defines the town, and the bedrooms inside them are often compact. A freestanding wardrobe eats floor space and leaves a dusty gap above it. A unit built to fill the wall, from skirting to ceiling, can double the storage without making the room feel smaller.
Many flats here are owned by people who use them for a few weeks a year or let them to guests. That changes the brief. Surfaces need to wipe clean, doors need to survive suitcases and luggage-heavy arrivals, and hardware should be robust enough that an owner is not paying for repairs every season.

Small rooms
A typical Benidorm second bedroom has room for a bed, a bedside table and not much else. Sliding doors solve the main difficulty, because the panels travel along a track and never need clearance in front. You can put the bed within a hand's width of the wardrobe and still open it.
Inside, narrow depth is a common restriction, since the wall may stop short of the width a standard hanging rail wants. We can fit a rail that turns sideways, use pull-out hangers or build slimmer shelves so the unit still works for coats and shirts.
We also look above the doors. A top box that runs to the ceiling is an ideal home for suitcases and spare bedding in a flat with no spare cupboard. It adds little cost and a lot of capacity, so we usually suggest it at the survey.
Rental use
A flat that is let through the summer sees more wear in a season than a family home sees in a year. Doors are slid fast, bags are dropped against them and mirrors get splashed. We recommend hard-wearing boards, strong runners and handles that will not snap if a guest pulls hard.
Layout matters as much as materials. Guests rarely want twenty hanging spaces; they want a few shelves, a safe-style lockable section if you wish, and somewhere to put a suitcase. Cutting the unit back to what visitors use keeps the cost sensible.
If you manage the flat remotely, tell us. We can agree sizes and finishes over email and video, keep the visit short, and photograph the finished unit so you can check every detail without needing to fly out for it.
Blocks
Fitting a wardrobe in a tower block is as much about logistics as carpentry. Long boards have to go in the lift or up the stairs, parking near the entrance may be limited and a community often sets times when noisy work is allowed. We sort these points before the day.
It helps if you tell us about any rules from the community of owners, and whether a lift needs booking. Where possible we cut and finish the pieces at our workshop so that only the assembly and final trimming happen at the flat, which keeps dust and noise down.
Neighbours below and beside also matter. We protect common areas, clear our waste and leave the stairwell as we found it. Older fitted units in Benidorm flats can be taken out and removed in the same visit, which saves you arranging a separate disposal.
How it works
A Benidorm job starts with a visit to the flat to measure the wall, the ceiling height and the floor level, and to see where sockets, switches and air-conditioning units sit. We discuss how you use the room and sketch a layout there and then.
The written quotation follows, free of charge. Once you approve it, the pieces are made and a fitting date is agreed around the block's rules and your travel plans. We confirm the finished work with photographs if you are not on site.
