Benidorm is a town of apartments, most of them in tall blocks stacked close to the sea, with an older core of smaller homes around the old town. That mix shapes almost every electrical job. You are rarely dealing with a standalone house: you are working inside a building that other people live in and depend on.
For an owner, that means the practical details matter as much as the wiring. Where the meter and main board are, how cable can be routed through concrete floors and walls, and what the community expects all need to be understood before anyone picks up a tool.

Apartment blocks
In a tall block, everything is tighter. Ceilings are concrete, ducts are limited and noise travels, so routing new cable takes planning. We look at where existing circuits run, find the least disruptive paths and agree with you where surface trunking or chasing is acceptable.
Neighbours matter too. Work hours, access through shared areas and the handling of materials are all worth sorting out beforehand, and we aim to keep disruption low for the rest of the building.
If the job touches anything communal, such as shared risers or the main supply, that is normally a matter for the community and the utility, not for a private installer to decide alone. We tell you early where that line is.
Summer load
Many Benidorm apartments were fitted out decades ago, when one small unit and a few lamps were the expected load. Today, several air conditioning units and modern appliances can all be running together, and the original board may be struggling.
Common signs are trips on hot evenings, sockets that feel warm and extension leads running across the room. A new board with sensible, separated circuits and a dedicated line for each large unit usually cures these.
We assess the existing installation first and recommend only what the apartment needs. Sometimes that is a board upgrade; sometimes it is a handful of new circuits.
Holiday lets and the old town
If an apartment is let to holiday guests, reliability and simplicity count for more than novelty. Clear labelling, tidy fittings that stand up to heavy use and lighting that works without explanation all help to avoid call-outs.
Houses in the old town present a different set of questions. Older wiring, thicker walls and awkward access mean a full or part rewire is sometimes the better route than patching what is there.

We start with a visit to the apartment or house, looking at the board, the existing circuits and what you want to change. If you are abroad, we can arrange access through a keyholder or agent and talk it through with you by message or call.
