That regular use changes the brief. People want a shower that is comfortable at seven in the morning, quick to clean, and safe for every member of the household. A bath that is rarely filled becomes wasted space.
We have been working along this coast since 1999. Every part of the shower job is looked after by our in-house plumbers, tilers and builders in the right order, and each decision is explained in English or Spanish so that you can choose calmly.
Townhouses
Townhouses in the older streets are tall and narrow, and the bathroom is often on an upper floor. That makes sealing doubly important, as a leak goes through to rooms below. We take extra care with the base, the wall junctions and the drain connection.
Access is a practical matter. Stairs may be steep and streets tight, so large glass panels or heavy panels need planning. We arrange suitable sizes and carry routes, and we tell you in the quotation how deliveries and waste removal will work.
Floors in these houses vary. Some are solid, some are built on beams. We check the structure before fixing the design, since the depth available for a drain determines how the base can be formed.
By the sea
Flats facing the sea experience humidity and salt that inland homes avoid. Metal fittings wear faster, and moisture lingers if ventilation is poor. We pick materials and finishes with that environment in mind, and look carefully at extraction.
A walk-in shower often releases space in a flat bathroom, and the saved floor can hold a larger basin or better storage. Light-coloured walls and a clear glass panel keep a small room bright, which many seafront flats appreciate.
As in any block, neighbours matter. We recommend telling the community before work, keep common areas clean and protect lifts and landings, and we take a sensible approach to noisy stages of the job.
Everyday living
People who live here all year pay attention to small things. Is the floor warm enough? Does the water drain quickly? Is the screen easy to wipe? A heated towel rail, a niche at the right height and a mixer that works smoothly make a daily difference.

For households with older members, a level entrance and a seat or rail reduce risk without making the bathroom look clinical. We plan their positions and fixings before the walls are tiled, so they stay secure.
How it works
Our first step is calling at the home to measure the bathroom, find the waste pipe and study the floor. You tell us how you live, and we draw up a quotation, free of charge, that covers floor base, waterproofing, finishes and fittings.
Then the work moves from strip-out through plumbing, base, sealing and tiling to the screen. If you are away, you are sent photographs of each stage, and the completed shower is inspected with you before we close the job.

Often yes. We check the floor, the waste pipe and access on the street, then shape a base to fit the room. Upper-floor bathrooms get particular attention to sealing, since a leak would reach the rooms beneath.
Corrosion-resistant fittings, good extraction and finishes that wipe clean. Salt and humidity are part of daily life, so we choose materials that tolerate them and we plan ventilation as part of the job.
We work throughout the year. Many homes here are lived in permanently, so winter is a sensible time for bathroom work. We arrange dates that suit you and keep you informed whether or not you are on site.
