Extensions & New Builds Finestrat
Beneath Puig Campana the ground tilts, and so does every building decision. A Finestrat extension starts with the earth: how it is cut, held back and drained long before any room appears.
Finestrat's villas look out from the hillsides over the sea and the mountain, and most of them stand on terraced ground. Adding space almost always means working with that slope, either cutting into it, building on a platform or extending over a lower level.
Groundwork is therefore a bigger share of the project here than on a flat plot. Excavation, retaining walls, foundations and drainage are costly to get wrong and invisible once finished, which is why we give them particular attention.
The reward is worth it. A well-placed extension on a slope can capture views the original house never used, and a new house designed for the site rather than imposed upon it feels settled in its surroundings from day one.
