Extensions & New Builds La Nucía
Houses in La Nucía tend to sit on their own plots with room to grow. Families settle here and then outgrow their villa, so the question is usually which way to expand: outwards, upwards or downwards.
Much of La Nucía is made up of urbanisations on hillsides, where villas were built to a similar pattern and often include an underbuild below the main floor. Those lower levels are frequently the cheapest place to find extra living area.
Outward extensions are also common, particularly where the plot has a flat terrace or a corner of garden. Each option has its own set of structural, drainage and appearance issues, and it helps to compare them before you settle on a plan.
An urbanisation may have its own rules about what can be built and how it should look. We ask about those early, alongside the question of whether the town hall will need to be consulted, so the design that emerges is one that can actually be built.
